WHAT TO EXPECT
What It’s Like To Visit
When you come to a service, you can expect to meet groups of people from all walks of life, hear practical and powerful messages from the Bible, hear music consistent with today’s culture and encounter a welcoming environment that will make you want to come back.
Come as you are. Dress is casual. You won’t be singled out as new person either. Right now, we offer one service at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays.
We offer children’s programming during the service. Our Kids Ministry offers a safe and fun environment for children from birth through 5th grade. Pre-screened volunteers and an organized check-in system ensure your children are safe, while the age-appropriate activities and curriculum allow your children to have fun while learning.
If you’re new, be sure to connect with one of our team members so we can personally help you get connected here!
MEET OUR PASTOR!
Rev. Biily Roy is our pastor here at Crossroads Church. He is married to Beth (35 years) and has two children who serve the Lord in ministry today. Crossroads Church launched on December 3, 2017. We are a church plant with the NC Baptist State Convention and are a part of the Columbus Baptist Association. We exist to transform our community with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ by making disciples and meeting the needs of our community.
ABOUT OUR CHURCH
Bible Based: The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy. It reveals the principles by which God judges us, and therefore is, and will remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried. All Scripture is a testimony to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation.
Exodus 24:4; Deuteronomy 4:1-2; 17:19; Joshua 8:34; Psalms 19:7-10; 119:11,89,105,140; Isaiah 34:16; 40:8; Jeremiah 15:16; 36:1-32; Matthew 5:17-18; 22:29; Luke 21:33; 24:44-46; John 5:39; 16:13-15; 17:17; Acts 2:16ff.; 17:11; Romans 15:4; 16:25-26; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 1:1-2; 4:12; 1 Peter 1:25; 2 Peter 1:19-21.
Discipleship: Christianity is the faith of enlightenment and intelligence. In Jesus Christ abide all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. All sound learning is, therefore, a part of our Christian heritage. The new birth opens all human faculties and creates a thirst for knowledge. Moreover, the cause of education in the Kingdom of Christ is co-ordinate with the causes of missions and general benevolence, and should receive along with these the liberal support of the churches. An adequate system of Christian education is necessary to a complete spiritual program for Christ’s people.
In Christian education there should be a proper balance between academic freedom and academic responsibility. Freedom in any orderly relationship of human life is always limited and never absolute. The freedom of a teacher in a Christian school, college, or seminary is limited by the pre-eminence of Jesus Christ, by the authoritative nature of the Scriptures, and by the distinct purpose for which the school exists.
Deuteronomy 4:1,5,9,14; 6:1-10; 31:12-13; Nehemiah 8:1-8; Job 28:28; Psalms 19:7ff.; 119:11; Proverbs 3:13ff.; 4:1-10; 8:1-7,11; 15:14; Ecclesiastes 7:19; Matthew 5:2; 7:24ff.; 28:19-20; Luke 2:40; 1 Corinthians 1:18-31; Ephesians 4:11-16; Philippians 4:8; Colossians 2:3,8-9; 1 Timothy 1:3-7; 2 Timothy 2:15; 3:14-17; Hebrews 5:12-6:3; James 1:5; 3:17.
Serve Community: We believe a church should operate as a unified community of servants, with men and women stewarding their spiritual gifts. This includes the concepts of unity, servanthood, spiritual gifts, and ministry callings (1 Corinthians 12 and 14; Romans 12; Ephesians 4; Psalm 133:1).
Relevant: We believe the church should be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure. (1 Corinthians 9:19–23).
Compassion: We believe lost people matter to God, and therefore, they matter to the church. This includes the concepts of relational evangelism and evangelism as a process (Luke 5:30–32; Luke 15; Matthew 18:14).

There are several benefits to online giving for both you and The Crossroads Church:
Faithfully Honoring God
When you sign up to give online you are deciding in advance to faithfully give. The Bible teaches that we are to honor God with the “first fruits” of our labor (Proverbs 3:9). By setting up a recurring contribution that is scheduled to come out of your account on the day you specify, you can ensure that your first fruits are faithfully given back to God. (1 Corinthians 16:1-2)
You won’t have to remember whether you gave this month or send in an offering by mail when you’re on a trip.
We utilize an encrypted secure website for our giving portal to ensure protection of your sensitive personal information and giving history.
You have the ability to quickly see your online giving history directly through our giving portal instead of having to contact our Finance Department for a personalized report.
